Precision Medicine Case Competition
For the final round, DeciBio Consulting and Veracyte will bring top teams from Stanford and Cal to go head-to-head on October 14th and present to DeciBio and Veracyte. This unique case competition allows participants an opportunity to do real case work; the focus is not a simulation or a past case, but rather a current business challenge faced by an innovator in the life sciences industry. Finalists from each university will present to a Veracyte VP and have their findings potentially directly impact Veracyte’s decision-making.
Previous consulting or case competition experience is not required. In fact, we encourage interdisciplinary thinking and teamwork; at least half or more of each team must be studying in a life-science related field. We strongly encourage those with an interest in exploring consulting to participate; anyone is welcome!
Logistics:
Interested parties can apply as a complete team of 2-4, or as an incomplete group/individual. Incomplete groups/individuals will be placed in teams such that at least half of the team consists of life-science majors.
Complete teams of 2-4 must have at least half of the team consist of life-science majors.
Transportation to and from Veracyte will be reimbursed for the finalist teams.
