Opportunities with Via

Hello!

My name is Katherine Paulsen (Yale ’14), and I’m the Business Operations Associate at Via, an innovative $5 ride-sharing startup in NYC. We’re expanding super rapidly (we just launched in Chicago and have plans to launch in multiple other cities in 2016), and are looking to hire exceptional people to join us. I thought members of Stanford Women in Business might be interested in learning more about us and our available job opportunities. We’re looking for talented, creative, and smart go-getters — seems like a good match!

If you think members might be interested, would you mind passing along our information? I’ve included a short blurb about Via below, and you can also check out our job postings at ridewithvia.com/jobs.

If you have any other questions or want more information, I would be so happy to help! You can reach me at katherine@ridewithvia.com or at 612-695-5380.

Thanks so much!

Best,
Katherine

Via is a high-growth early-stage startup that's changing the way people get around cities. Using our app, a premium ride booked on your phone costs little more than the bus ($5/ride in New York!). Via uses a proprietary algorithm that allows passengers to seamlessly share their rides with others going in the same direction - it's on-demand transportation on a mass scale that's friendly to our planet. With $37M of funding raised, Via is live in New York and rapidly expanding, with plans to launch in Chicago by the end of 2015 and additional cities next year.

Via is currently looking for smart, analytical people interested in entrepreneurship to join our team and help with both execution and expansion. We have open roles in a wide range of areas, from marketing to operations to analytics. If you or someone you know is talented, hard-working, and interested, please check out our openings here or reach out to recruit@ridewithvia.com.
