Stanford Class of 2017,
My name is Akshai and I am an Associate Consultant and a former Associate Consultant intern in the Bain & Company San Francisco office (and a 2015 Stanford grad, majored in Chemical Engineering). Bain & Company is a management consulting firm, and we are beginning our recruiting efforts for the Associate Consultant Intern (ACI) role for the summer of 2016.
We were proud to learn this week that Bain is ranked highly on Glassdoor’s Employees’ Choice Award, honoring the 50 Best Places to Work in 2016.
For the past four years, Bain has been in the #1 or #2 spot, and we are ranked among many of the world’s best known employer brands beyond just the consulting industry (though we also retained the #1 Consulting firm position!). What should I expect as an ACI?
- One week of intensive training delivered by experienced consultants
- You will be assigned to an active case (potentially a travel case)
- Typical responsibilities include: data gathering and analysis, industry research, interviewing key clients, customers, and suppliers and presenting their findings to the team
