Falling Walls Lab is a global series of events that provides a platform for students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and young professionals from various fields to present path breaking innovations to a multi-disciplinary jury.  The program started in Berlin in 2009, on the 20th anniversaryfall of the Berlin wall.  The central question in Falling Walls event is “Which walls will fall next?”   Six years on, Falling Walls Labs are held all over the world, with 34 Labs in taking place in 28 countries in 2015.  The finalist from each Lab participates in a grand finale in Berlin, during the annual Falling Walls Conference.  The event typically attracts Nobel laureates, entrepreneurs, artists, and heads of governments, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
