No experience necessary! This competition is free for all participants. We will provide educational materials, case descriptions, and trading software.

Traders@MIT is hosting its 9th annual Intercollegiate Trading Competition on Saturday, November 5th from 9am to 6pm at MIT. The competition consists of electronic trading as well as open-outcry (paper trading) events. Food will be provided all day and travel will be mostly reimbursed. We will be accepting resumes from competing students to give to our sponsors.

Through participating in this competition, you will get the opportunity to learn about the different asset classes commonly being traded, how to build models in accordance to the incomplete information you are given, the fundamentals of market structure, making markets, and many other unquantifiable skills. It is a great place to learn about trading in a controlled, simulated environment without the pressure!

PRIZES

The case winners and top 3 overall teams will split over $8000 in prizes. In addition, the winners will be invited to an exclusive dinner with DRW.
