Founded by the China-U.S. Cultural Exchange Association of Cornell University, the goal of the Ivy League Leadership Conference (ILLC) is to inspire outstanding high school and college students from China to develop professional and leadership skills. This year, ILLC will be held from July 18th to July 24th in Beijing, China. ILLC is offering internship opportunities to students interested in event planning, marketing, outreach, and teaching. As an ILLC intern, you will get hands-on experience on how to plan and execute a meaningful conference. You will be valued as an important part of the conference, and you will bring your ideas to inspire future Chinese leaders.
Compensation:
Paid on-campus housing and meals from July 15 to July 25, 2016
$1000 stipend
Work Schedule:
June 1–– July 14
Conference Planning Stage (at your own place)—you will be mainly working on your own to prepare your workshops and assist the operations, outreach, and marketing. You should expect to spend about 5 hours/week during the conference planning stage. You are allowed to have another internship, as long as can finish our assigned work on time. You will communicate with the conference committee via email and Skype.
July 15 ––July 24
Conference (Beijing, China)—you will be working intensely at the conference center.
