TPG Fulltime Business Development Analyst

This Analyst role is a two-year position based in San Francisco, with potential for promotion to the Associate role. The program will commence in July 2017 with comprehensive private equity training modules to be followed with participation in the Associate week-long training program.

Firm Branding – Research and analyze relevant activity, trends and players in the private equity industry and the macro-economic environment and work with senior professionals to communicate TPG’s differentiated investment / macro-economic views on the topics to limited partners.

Capital Raising – Compile information on the market opportunity and competitive landscape of proposed funds, develop marketing materials including Private Placement Memos and pitch book presentations for the opportunity, develop detailed due diligence materials for potential investors, including quantitative and qualitative analyses outlining the firm’s performance, strategy etc., respond to investors’ specific diligence questions and participate in outbound and in-house marketing meetings.

Ongoing Investor Relations – Work with senior management to create quarterly / annual presentations for clients that detail portfolio progress and outlook, work with internal deal teams to communicate relevant Firm / portfolio updates to limited partners real-time and field LP queries on portfolio company statuses, capital accounts, performance, etc.

New Business Development – Develop detailed views of new asset classes TPG may want to enter, including market dynamics, competitive analysis, fund economics, etc. with senior partners.
