MARKETING INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION
The Marketing team is looking for 2 interns to support the team across various marketing functions including PR, Editorial, and Events.
Sample projects include:
- Research for media outlets and publication opportunities
- Develop content for a16z website and editorial projects
- Assist with planning and organizing firm events
- Administrative tasks including scheduling and record keeping
The position will be a full-time, paid summer internship (40 hours per week) with an in-office commitment.

Andreessen Horowitz is looking for bright, fresh talent to intern for the Policy and Regulatory Affairs group. In this role, you'll support the a16z team as we advise our portfolio companies on a range of policy and regulatory issues, working across industries. We are looking for an intern for the spring quarter to start soon, the summer and fall.
If your daily reading spans from Politico to TechMeme and ReCode, and are in the beginning of your career, this position could be the next opportunity for you. You'll join the team to perform research and analysis on political positions and regulatory issues, help develop content for written and verbal presentations, help plan events and build our policy network, and assist in planning visits for political leaders coming to Silicon Valley. You'll also help to establish team processes and assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling and record-keeping. If you like working in a fast-paced environment, follow the regulatory and political landscape, and are eager roll your sleeves up and help shape this group, then we'd love to hear from you.
