The True Ventures TEC Summer Fellowship
The True Entrepreneur Corps (TEC) summer fellowship program brings 12 rising juniors and seniors in college to San Francisco to spend the summer at early stage technology companies to learn firsthand what it’s like to work at a startup. In addition to working for a True portfolio company, TEC Fellows participate in a weekly speaker series at True's San Francisco office. Discussions with company Founders, investors, and others from the True network give TEC Fellows the chance to meet and learn from many of today’s most creative and accomplished minds in technology. Above and beyond providing a great opportunity to soak up lessons about startups and the entrepreneurial process, TEC is designed to help provide a great foundation for future startup pursuits. The short-term benefits are clear: in the past nine years, many Fellows have continued to work with their companies after the program's conclusion. Our alums have started over 20 companies and half a dozen today work in venture capital. Over the longer term, we’re confident that what you learn during TEC and the relationships you build here will pay dividends for many years to come. The TEC Fellowship pays a stipend of $11,000 and its application deadline is January 15, 2019. For more information about TEC, please visit www.trueventures.com/TEC or email TEC@trueventures.com.
