Search Fund Part Time Intern Opportunity
I’ve launched a search fund and am recruiting Stanford undergrads to work with me.
A bit on me: I did my undergrad at Princeton, middle market private equity at a firm on University Ave called Altamont Capital Partners, and most recently graduated from the GSB in June. I’m originally from LA and running my search fund out of San Francisco.
What a search fund is: A group of all-star GSB professors and investors have recruited me to find one company to buy and operate going forward. We’re looking for a small, profitable company with steady cash flows and an owner seeking to retire and transition the business to a successor. We will buy the company with investor capital and I will run the company under the mentorship and guidance of my investor group.
What I’m looking for: I’m looking to hire interns to assist me in the search phase – identifying attractive companies, building outreach campaigns and doing diligence on high potential targets. (It’s essentially a mini private equity shop). Time commitment will be 10 hours / week. My hope is that you will benefit from learning the search fund model and establishing relationships with private equity investors and business school professors.
