Sterling Associates Consulting / Market Research Position

Sterling (www.sterlingassociates.com) is a boutique consulting / market research firm that develops custom business intelligence for corporations and some of the largest and most active private equity firms in the United States.

Sterling is looking for high-achieving seniors to join the Associate class starting Summer 2020. For those already interested in consulting / market research, Sterling is an attractive alternative to the “Big Four” and other firms that they may be considering. For those who aren’t specifically interested in consulting / market research (or who may be exploring a wide array of potential post-graduation paths), the Associate role is still worth considering; Sterling welcomes bright graduates from a wide range of backgrounds, and Sterling invests in their Associates’ professional development so that if / when they choose to leave Sterling for another opportunity, they are well-positioned for an exit.

Associates are at the center of the work Sterling does, and as a small, rapidly-growing firm (we grew by ~50% last year), they are focused on continuing to attract exciting new talent. Gender diversity is an important priority for the firm as they continue to grow, and historically, we’ve had a higher proportion of men apply through our postings on campus career websites. Accordingly, we are exploring ways to engage with strong candidates more broadly by getting in touch with student organizations and their members.
