Angel Island Capital Management Analyst Position

Angel Island is looking to hire a summer analyst to join the credit investment team working across its three industry verticals. The summer analyst will be an integral part of the investment team and will drive forward potential investments. As a result, the summer analyst will participate in a variety of transaction functions (i.e. origination, diligence, and monitoring) and portfolio management activities. They are looking for a student graduating in the Winter of 2019 or Summer of 2020.

AICM has three investment strategies (Credit Opportunities, Liquid Credit and Asset-Based Lending) and seeks to find unique opportunities providing superior risk‐adjusted returns in both the primary and secondary market inclusive of stressed capital structure investments and new issue activity. The team actively invests across the credit spectrum with a focus on bank loans and high‐yield bonds. Moreover, the team maintains deep domain knowledge and experience within its core industries (Industrials, Software and Business Services) to drive meaningful alpha generation.
