Crestview Full Time Analyst

Position Description

The Analyst will be a member of Crestview's private equity investment team. In that role, the Analyst will work on leveraged buyout, growth equity and distressed debt investments, with a focus on contrarian and value-oriented investing. Responsibilities will include assisting senior investment professionals in identifying, evaluating and monitoring potential investments and portfolio companies. The Analyst will be part of a small team with approximately 25 investment professionals and will interact directly with senior professionals and portfolio company executives. The Analyst will take a leadership role in financial analysis, business due diligence and various presentations. This is a New York-based, full-time position, where the Analyst is expected to be promoted to an Associate role after the first year.

Specific Job functions will include:

• Build complex Excel valuation models for potential investments, recapitalization and exits

• Evaluate deals by looking at metrics such as IRR, ROIC, EBITDA multiples, accretion/dilution, etc.

• Create pro forma income and cash flow statements for potential portfolio acquisitions and recapitalization

• Manage due diligence processes, including coordinating with transaction advisors, collecting and reviewing

data, and supporting senior investment professionals in negotiations and documentation.

• Create presentations and proposals for Crestview's investment committee, potential investment targets,

financing sources and portfolio companies

• Bachelor's degree from a top academic institution

• A high commitment to quality and attention to detail

• Self-starter with ability to think and work independently and problem solve

• Intellectual curiosity and demonstrated analytical skills

• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Some experience producing analytical reports or research papers with high level of detail and thoroughness

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Excellent track record of defining and meeting commitments
