Web Development Manager

  • Experience with Shopify and front end website design

  • Commitment needed: a few hours per week to make regular amendments to the frontend based on the needs of marketing and merchandising

Operations Director

The Operations Director will play a critical role in delivering on KATLA’s promise of moving the industry towards a more financially and environmentally sustainable future through on-demand and responsive manufacturing. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day oversight of KATLA’s manufacturer network, including ensuring timely delivery of merchandise and quality control

  • Research and onboarding of new manufacturers as the company grows in scale and expands into new categories and new markets

  • Day to day interaction with KATLA’s raw material suppliers, including monitoring of inventory levels and timely repurchasing of supplies

  • Research and onboarding of new raw material suppliers that meet KATLA’s sustainability criteria

  • Management of KATLA’s tracking system, including ensuring correct matching of customers to items as well as ongoing improvement and expansion of the system

  • Oversight over warehousing, packaging and shipping as well as customer returns

  • Oversight over customer care function in collaboration with the company’s marketing team

  • Research and implementation of new technologies that can support the company’s forecasting capabilities, manufacturing capabilities and other aspects of the company's operations

  • Close collaboration with KATLA’s design and merchandising teams on new product development to ensure adequate raw material supplies, manufacturing capabilities and timing of product launches

  • Research and implementation of systems to support the scaling of the company’s operations

  • Role based in NYC
