SUMMARY

Want to break into venture capital? Their internship program has been the launching ground for many successful careers in business. One of their last interns went on to join a prominent venture capital group in Silicon Valley. They provide their interns with many rare opportunities to learn more about the practice of venture capital and launch their business careers.

Robert Bosch Venture Capital invests in technology start-up companies along the line of Robert Bosch’s current and future business. Bosch is one of the largest private companies worldwide with more than 80 billion Euros of sales. Founded in 1886, Bosch is a leading global supplier of automotive, industrial technology, consumer goods and building technology. You would work with the U.S. group that advises the corporate venture arm of Robert Bosch.

They are seeking a professional and motivated team player to support the business imperatives of the team.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: Minimum 9-month commitment

Compensation: Paid, commensurate with qualifications and experience

Days/week: 2-3 days/wk.

Start date: January 2023

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary tasks will include:

· Provide support for various market and technology research projects. Specific activities would include, but not limited to, desktop research, attend various strategy related conferences and seminars, generate reports

· Deliver high quality analytical insights on various technologies and markets on a macro and micro level, provide input to senior level executives

· Interface with counterparts in Germany for deal flow management

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Education/Training/Work Experience

Pursue BS/BA, MS, PhD in Engineering, Physics, Business or other disciplines

Qualifications and Desired skills:

· Passion for working with leading entities in the innovation ecosystem, including but not limited to start-ups, universities, venture capital funds, etc.

· Good organizational and execution skills, focus on detail

· Strong analytical skills

· High level of confidentiality and strong work ethic

· Experience and proficient knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and sourcing data from the Internet

· Ability to multi-task and learn quickly

· Interest in learning about Venture Capital
