Stanford Women on Boards Associate Program
Stanford Women on Boards (SWB) is recruiting a new class of student members (e.g. Associates) to volunteer through May 2023. SWB is committed to increasing the representation of Stanford alumnae on corporate and fiduciary boards, increasing Stanford women’s readiness for board service, and further developing the capabilities and influence of Stanford women already on boards.
California has enacted a new law mandating that public companies in California appoint a minimum number of women to their Boards of Directors. As a result, SWB believes this is an excellent time to match public company boards with qualified Stanford women alumnae to serve on their Boards.
This is a great position if you are interested in learning about board dynamics, building relationships with high-profile Stanford alums, and gaining exposure to corporations looking to hire female board members.
