Rethinking Economics Speaker Event | Modern Monetary Theory Original Developer, L. Randall Wray

Do you wish Economics courses considered twenty-first-century issues + solutions and provided perspectives outside the neoclassical model?

Come discuss the future of Economics and more with Bard College professor L. Randall Wray! L. Randall Wray is a Senior Scholar at the Levy Economics Institute and Professor of Economics at Bard College. He is one of the original developers of Modern Money Theory (MMT), a framework for understanding how the government “really spends'' in a way that challenges orthodox views about deficits, monetary policy, and the so-called inflation-unemployment trade-off. Meaning, government spending does not have to be limited by debt issuance.

Bring your questions, comments, + critiques of the status quo!
