Recalc Academy Finance Accelerator Spring 2023

What is it?

The Recalc Finance Accelerator is an intensive program designed to help you launch your career in private equity and alternative investing. The program is co-led by industry veterans:  Recalc founder Katie Fifer (ex-Audax Group, Paxion Capital) and Jill Pierce (CarterPierce recruiting).  Recalc partners closely with many of the leading firms across the industry. The Accelerator focuses on:

  • Technical training

  • Mentorship & community

  • Recruiting support


Past participants have secured internships and jobs at Blackstone, General Atlantic, Audax Group, Spectrum Equity, TCW, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and many other top investment firms and banks.


What kind of commitment is required?

This is an intense, transformational program that requires meaningful effort. Participants are required to attend live zoom-based training sessions (2x/week for 2 months) and are encouraged to join additional guest panels, mock interview prep, and community events.


Who is it for?

There is a special emphasis on training and developing candidates historically underrepresented within private equity. This includes women, underrepresented minorities, first generation college students, and students from schools without traditional on-campus recruiting. The program is open to undergrads of all ages as well as recent graduates pivoting to investing roles. College sophomores especially benefit from the program given the timing of internship recruiting. You do not need to have prior finance experience. You do need to have an outstanding work ethic, be analytically-oriented, and be intellectually curious.
