2023 Synergist Women in Finance Mentorship Program
The Synergist Network, a national network of women in investing with chapters in New York City, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, and LA is organizing a college mentorship program for women who are interested in pursuing a career in finance.
Applications are due in one week (Friday, March 3) and they strongly encourage you to apply ASAP! They’ll be reviewing applications on a rolling basis.
The College Mentorship Program intends to 1) provide college women interested in finance with support and mentorship and 2) create a community of women across finance interests. The program is targeted towards college freshman, sophomore, and junior women who are interested in finance. Mentors in the program will be women in investment banking, corporate development, and investing roles at various firms across the country.
The program will kick-off in March and end in May. The program will consist of:
4 one-on-one conversations between mentor / mentee pairs (scheduled at each pair's convenience)
Fireside chats focusing on various areas of finance (for mentees only)
Summit event to meet other women in finance
Technical training sessions from Training the Street
Mentee Eligibility: Current freshman through junior women in college
Expected time commitment: 3-5 hours per month
