Highlighted Positions

Stanford Women’s Leadership Conference Coordinators (2)

  • Plan and implement all elements of the Stanford Women's Leadership Conference, which takes place the first Saturday of spring quarter, including: conference theme, publicity, workshops, identifying keynotes and speakers, volunteer management, andother details; work on a quarterly time-line to ensure all elements are in place

  • Engage WCC staff in brainstorming, decision-making, and overall plans for the SWLC

  • Develop partnerships to involve students, faculty, staff, & alumni in the planning and implementation of the conference

  • Assess programs and initiatives on a regular basis, including written event recaps

  • Manage and maintain an accurate working budget for programmatic area; participate in quarterly budget check-ins with Associate Director supervise and engage an intern in program planning, promotions, and center activities

Integrate an awareness of intersections of identity, privilege, and social change into all programs

Women at Work Series Coordinator (1)

  • Organize, schedule, and produce a series during winter quarter designed to helpstudents on campus explore post-graduation opportunities, potential careers, work lifestyles, and skills necessary for success in the job market
  • Create and implement one program of this program during fall and spring quarters

  • Work with other staff members and interns to reach wide audiences and speak to a
    diversity of topics that reflect the WCC’s mission

  • Assess programs and initiatives on a regular basis, including written event recaps

  • Manage and maintain an accurate working budget for programmatic area; participate in
    quarterly budget check-ins with Associate Director

  • Supervise and engage an intern in program planning, promotions, and center activities

  • Integrate an awareness of intersections of identity, privilege, and social change into all
    programs

Communications Coordinator (1)

  • Manage, update, and develop content for the WCC website and online event calendar

  • Manage all aspects of WCC social media, including recruiting and coordinating staff and interns to contribute to Femtastic Friday emails, blog, Twitter, and Facebook

  • Work with other WCC staff to coordinate the creation of publicity flyers to promote
    WCC events and initiatives

  • Coordinate staff to distribute marketing materials to enhance campus presence

  • Assess programs and initiatives on a regular basis, including written event recaps
