Strategic Management Solutions is an analytics consulting firm based in Redwood Shores, California.  We advise and assist clients in applying business analytics to improve strategic decision-making in the areas of predictive analytics, business forecasting, pricing strategy, and supply chain management. We are currently seeking a business analyst to join our team.  Projects work may include activities such as analytical model development, data analysis, development of training materials, and working with clients.
 
The ideal candidate will have an educational background (BS degree or higher) in operations research, management science, or a related field, and will have 0-5 years of relevant work experience.  Additionally, the analyst must be skilled in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint, be adept at manipulating data, have strong communication skills, and exhibit a high degree of professionalism. Statistical analysis experience and programming skills in Python, R, SAS, or SQL are a plus.
