Drive the research efforts to ensure high quality candidate flow.
Analyze and quickly breakdown new industries and identify key people within them.
Quickly learn key industry segments such as: Software (SaaS), Digital Media/Internet/Gaming, Enterprise Infrastructure hardware and software (storage, security, networking, virtualization, tools, etc.), Clean Tech, Semiconductor, Consumer Electronics, Cloud, as well as others.
Must be able to tell the difference between a top quality candidate, and non top quality - Identify technology executives who have played a critical role in the success of top companies within the ecosystem; and continuously mine the industry/market for additional targets.
Understand the functional breakdown and roles within the executive structure including; CEO, President, COO, CFO, General Manager, VP of Marketing, Sales, Operations/Manufacturing, Engineering, and Business Development.
Think strategically, and speak intelligently in detail about our clients across various industries.
Act as an ecosystem expert in the markets/verticals researched.
Develop a research strategy and draft reports that include documentation and complex spreadsheets that outline targeted industries and companies.
Develop programs that improve the performance/output of the research department as a whole.
Serve as an ambassador for SPMB when reaching out to the candidate community.
