TEDWomen Conference Volunteer (10/7)

Description: The TEDWomen Conference is a 3-day long conference, focused on the power of women to be change-makers of the future. There will be a pre-conference that takes place from Oct 24 – 25. This year's conference will take place Oct. 26 – 28, at the Yerba Buena Arts Center for the Arts in San Francisco, CA. Since this role mainly encompasses event planning/logistics, volunteers will not be attending the speaking events themselves. However, they will receive free recordings of all the TEDWomen talks, many of which are not released publicly and usually reserved only for attendees.

Commitment: Volunteers will be involved with various aspects of the event, both leading up to and during the conference. Some prep may happen before the conference begins. Volunteers will be asked to commit 4-5 days between the dates of Oct. 24 – 28, depending on the role. Shifts will be between 6-8 hrs/day.

Compensation: Benefits include access to the full archive of unreleased talks from the TEDWomen Conference online and a $50 per diem each day to go towards meals, parking, etc., as well as gaining events and operations experience.

Deadline: Application is rolling and spots will fill quickly. Earlier applications preferred. The deadline is 11:59pm on Friday, October 7.
