Have an interview coming up? Getting ready for your summer internship? Or, already prepping for recruitment season in the fall? Then, join us on the evening of Tuesday, April 25th for an interactive workshop designed to help you build your professional wardrobe.
Professional stylists and wardrobe consultants Eric Deck (Founder/Director of SmartlyDressed) and Lo Pranger (Founder of Lo Maintenance) will cover why dressing well on an interview matters, break down how to assess the quality & fit of garments, and include an opportunity to build outfits for your interview, internship, or job. They will focus on how to build a wardrobe on any budget and will point to places to shop for clothes at various price points.
Eric and Lo will cover businesswear for students who are considering formal industries like banking or consulting, as well as touch on how to dress appropriately in casual work environments such as tech or non-profit.
Note: This workshop is exclusively for Stanford students. Separate sessions will cover womenswear and menswear, as generally defined by the fashion industry. We encourage students of all genders and identities to sign up for either.
DINNER WILL BE PROVIDED FOR MENSWEAR SESSION. DESSERT FOR WOMENSWEAR SESSION
SPACE IS LIMITED FOR THIS WORKSHOP, SO SIGN UP TODAY!

In each 2-hour, highly interactive and hands-on workshop, Eric and Lo will cover:

Assessing Garments - How to determine if an article of clothing is well made, based on fit, foundation, fabric, finishing, fixings, and fashion.
How to Do Laundry - Finding a good drycleaner, how to get the most life out of your clothes, what to wash and what to dryclean, and how often.
Looking professional in 10 minutes - Ironing a shirt in 2 minutes flat, buffing/shining a shoe, tying a tie properly
Outfit building - During this interactive session, you will learn all about color, pattern, and proportion and how to combine them to build an outfit.
