FFL Partners is a San-Francisco based private equity firm formed in 1997 to invest in middle-market companies where the substantial strategic and operating expertise of FFL's principals can help management grow sales, improve margins and make acquisitions. For nearly two decades, the firm has produced attractive returns for investors through up and down markets and across a range of industries by patiently focusing its efforts on good businesses with attractive returns on capital and strong growth prospects. FFL is currently investing a $2 billion fund across business services, industrials and healthcare services.
The firm generally commits $50-$300 million to individual transactions.
POSITION OVERVIEW
FFL Analyst Interns will have the opportunity to work on lean deal teams as they evaluate new investments, research niches within our targeted verticals and work closely with portfolio companies and management teams post-transaction to focus on business improvement and growth.
Investment Due Diligence and Market Research
The Analyst Intern will work closely with FFL investment professionals to conduct financial analysis, customer and supplier calls and market research.
Portfolio Improvement
The Analyst Intern will work closely with FFL investment professionals and portfolio company management teams to analyze company performance, prioritize strategic initiatives and understand operational improvement opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong academic record
Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Relevant experience in finance and investing
Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
