Envision Conference explores how to build a brighter future through the prudent advancement of breakthrough technologies. Our 3rd annual conference will be held November 30 - December 2, 2018 at Princeton University.
The Envision Conference includes three tracks: Natural Sciences, Computer Science, and Humanities & Social Sciences. In each domain we will introduce the ethics of technology to future leaders. These tracks will teach participants to make prudent decisions throughout their careers in developing/using technologies that pose an existential threat.
In addition to Envision’s usual focus on technical domains, our newHumanities track will allow participants to identify problems that could arise from social and cultural interactions mediated by technology.
Students will get to learn about all three tracks through panels, workshops, and other events that will engage participants and provide strategies on the best way forward. Our current speakers include Peter Singer, Vincent Conitzer and Wendell Wallach. Visit our website for more information.
The deadline for the regular application is November 4th at 11:59 pm. Undergraduate and graduate students encouraged to apply.

Focuses on the implications of artificial intelligence, enhanced interfaces, nanotechnology, and synthetic biology.
Investigates catastrophic and existential risk, material advancement, space development, economic/social change, and human enhancement.
