Looking for an opportunity to work for an early stage start -up founded by two Stanford alums? We're currently hiring a part-time intern to support with 10-15 hours of work a week. Option to work remotely.
The Company: Homeroom is distributing free software to Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) to jumpstart the $30B market for children's activities. Why? Today PTAs are organizing $100K micro-marketplaces at their elementary schools, all over email. Our software streamlines their workflow by onboarding their parents & instructors into our marketplace. By building this network, we are transforming the types of classes available to students and creating a way for local teachers to make extra income.
The Team: Two Stanford alums, a phenomenal engineer and a stellar team of remote contractors
The Role: We're looking for a junior account lead to support our sales in following up with potential new customers, answering questions about our product and onboarding new parents and teachers to our platform. You're a great fit for the role if you can:
Write super personal yet professional emails to parents and teachers
Are patient with customers in explaining how to use our product
Can keep and maintain an organized list of users to track and follow up with
Aren't afraid to take calls with customers
Like to wear lots of hats
