Fractal Software is a year-old and fast-growing venture firm, focused on building and investing in enterprise software, especially industry-specific SaaS tools.
Fractal's investment team includes investors and operators from firms such as ICONIQ Growth, Apax Partners, BCG, and Bain. The existing team has launched 25 companies in the past 12 months out of a Fractal-dedicated $350M fund with plans to launch many more in the new year. Fractal employees are equity owners in every company we create together.
As a member of the investment team, the Research Investment Analyst will identify new startup opportunities through rigorous primary research and diligence. Additionally, she will collaborate with each start-up's founding team to develop effective product road maps and go-to-market strategies. The role provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to seed and venture investing while building out a network of founders, operators, and investors.
The Role
They are looking for a new Research Investment Analyst to join their team.
As an Analyst, you will:
● Identify attractive startup opportunities through rigorous primary diligence
● Source and conduct interviews with potential industry advisors
● Collaborate with senior team members to develop comprehensive investment materials and industry reports
This role provides exposure to seed and venture investing while building out your own personal network of founders, operators, and investors. Qualifications

● 6 months - 2 years of experience in a fast-paced working environment (open to graduating college students / internship experience only)
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● The ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data in an articulate and cogent manner
● Strong organizational skills with excellent prioritization and task management skills
