Stanford Emergence Mentorship Program
It is with great excitement that we announce that the Stanford Emergence Mentorship Program is now accepting applications for its 2023 Mentee Cohort. Please see the enclosed flyer for more information. Applications are due November 25th.
What is Emergence? Emergence is a new initiative at Stanford University that catalyzes entrepreneurship to address systemic challenges in the health of our society and planet. We build educational programs that develop the next generation of socially and environmentally conscious leaders and an ecosystem of partnerships and funding to catalyze and scale impactful innovations and companies.
What is the Emergence Mentorship Program? Each year, Emergence supports a cohort of highly driven social and environmental student entrepreneurs. Through weekly training, speakers, a network of like-minded peers, and one-on-one mentorship from industry professionals’ students are supported to ideate, develop, and launch purpose driven ventures that address societal and planet health challenges. The Mentorship Program includes the following three phases:
Phase 1: Purposeful Leadership
Understand purposeful entrepreneurship and align your work with your values.
Phase 2: Purposeful Innovations
Receive mentorship from executives and founders to help you vet your idea, assess product-market fit, your business model, and go to market strategy.
Phase 3: Purposeful Ventures
Connect with relevant organizations, and industry mentors who can help you take your idea and venture forward. Select students will have the opportunity to receive a small seed fund to pursue their venture.
